CURRUMBIN WILDLIFE SANCTUARY!

I woke up around 7 am today, had breakfast, and by 8:20 we arrived to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! The first thing we did was feed some birds and they sat on your arms and hands while drinking a milk based liquid that was on some plates they gave us to feed them. Later we held a baby crocodile which was really exciting and after those two activities we decided to go in the park. 

As soon as we got in we saw kangaroos jumping around and koalas hugged to trees. I am completely in love with them. As soon as we got in the first thing we did was holding a koala! Her name was Sunny and she was adorable.

After holding the koala and getting a photo with it we visited a part of the sanctuary with Australia's poisonous snakes. I even got to hold one around my neck! (I don't have a picture of that because I accidentally deleted it) Also I saw lots of lizards, turtles and crocodiles in there! Later we went to see two shows, the bird show and the one on animals of Australia. In the bird show we saw lots of the different types of birds there is in the country and learnt about their characteristics! In the one about the animals in Australia we saw the typical sheep shearing live and also some other poisonous snakes. Finally we went to see the kangaroos. What I loved the most was that they were jumping around and they were not in cages or places were you couldn't pet them, in fact they were just beside you, you could pet them, feed them, take photos, anything! They were really nice and friendly! Today was one of my best days here! I was really happy to come here and really thankful for it! I loved this day and had lots of fun and I learnt a lot from all of the Australian wildlife!

 On our way back we stopped to get a picture by the sea and the city behind it, but you can't see it really well there, so it was quite a failed attempt of a nice picture. 
Anyway, this was a really nice day! We went back home around 2 pm and had some wraps for lunch and watched a movie! 
This was one of the best days here!
